Kara and her husband always had a trip to Japan on their “one day” list. After losing her husband unexpectedly, Kara reached out to our team to help her carry out the trip solo and pay homage to her beloved in the places they’d dreamed of together.
The Jacksons and their friends traveled to Normandy, where they each had relatives serve. They began the trip with a few days in Paris, Giverny and Versailles. Then they rented a chateau in Cherbourg for five nights, from which they toured battlefields, Bayeaux, and the islands Guernsey and Jersey.
Jan wanted to surprise Tim for his 70th with a special family vacation that was both restful for the adults, and adventurous for the grandkids. We proposed a home in the Turks & Caicos – where the adults enjoyed the view from the porch, while the grandkids snorkeled off the beach.
