Deer Valley is a world-renowned ski resort that offers everything families need for a luxurious, stress-free and memorable vacation. For families with young children they offer a variety of beginner and intermediate terrain, as well as a dedicated children’s ski school (be sure to make reservations well in advance of your trip). For those that don’t want to hit the slopes, the resort also has a number of family-friendly activities, such as snowshoeing, tubing, and ice skating. For more experienced skiers, Deer Valley offers challenging terrain, as well as groomed runs for all ability levels. The resort also has a number of off-piste skiing opportunities. Deer Valley is typically less crowded than some of the other ski resort areas, which gives you more space to roam and enjoy the slopes. Consistent snowfall means you can expect good conditions even during the shoulder seasons, and being less than an hour from the Salt Lake City aiport, it’s a convenient choice. While you are there, visit nearby Park City which offers a more vibrant and lively town atmosphere.
