London gets a bad wrap when it comes to weather, but it makes up for it in its graduer and history. (Side note, London’s annual rainfall is less than that of New York, Sydney or Tokyo, however there are a high number of days when it does rain.) First timers to London won’t want to miss the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and an afternoon of English Tea. Visiting in the summer? You may catch a glimpse of the tennis pros at Wimbledon, the oldest tennis tournament in the world. Although London is an international city, with no language barrier and direct flights from many US destinations, it makes it an easy city to visit on its own or tagged onto a trip to Paris or Scotland.
